Well hopefully everyone is settling into the new design well. I still have a lot of work to do on it, adding sections and making current sections look really nice but it all seems to be ok at the moment.
I also have a few new ideas that will be making an appearance on the site soon.

But Defcon, I hear you scream, how is the collection going? Well I have enough stuff to do my biggest marathon of updates ever so closer to the end of the year be on the look out for lots and lots of updates from me. Including some cool joysticks, some nice merchandise and much much more.

Wait a second Defcon, I hear you cry out in anguish, what about the PAL Games Collection? You know your attempt to equal the feats of the one they call Ataribuff, to his face and smellypants behind his back? Well hows this for you?

Four more big ones for the collection bringing the total number needed down to only 10 games!!! Here we have Midway Arcade Greatest Hits 2 (The Midway Collection 2), Tail Concerto, Super Pang Collection, and finally a sealed copy of Time Bokan Yattaman!!

That brings the needed list to….

So its starting to get closer to working out which game is going to be the last one I manage to pick up, so far my pick is still in there, that being GTA Double Feature which is an ANZ only release and I have only ever seen twice. Well incase you were wondering I have finished that little thing I was doing in the background recently. Ladies and gentlemen I give you the PAL PlayStation Collective Version errrr 4 I think.

Obviously the first thing you will notice is that everything has changed around here, and it will go on changing for a little while yet as I still have some little things I need to tweak out here and there. However I hav achieved my main goal which was to speed the site up no end.

As you can tell its a lot faster and that is because I got rid of the other forums and we have brand spanking new forums for us to play with. Unfortunatly you will have to register again however AtariBuff has been through the old forums and pulled out all the cool and interesting stuff you guys have posted so nothing has been lost, and in fact its all been digested into a much easier to read passage.

As always when I make big updates to the site I am sure there are a few bugs, if you do find some please give me a shout either through a comment on this post, through the forums or stck your head out the window an dyell real loud, I am sure my dog like hearing will get the message.

Right thats it, I will let you all get settled in before I start filling your world with more wonderous and magical PlayStation 1 pick ups.

Now a headline like that would usually cause huge distress and if you read it like I wrote it you would now all be holding your head in your hands thinking the world has ended. Defcon is selling up!!!!!

Well calm down dear its only a headline and it relates to the two bits of news I have to give you.

So first off all lets deal with ‘Selling Up’. As everyone knows time are hard at the moment so I have decided to sell off some of my stuff, but before you get too excited its just my doubles and spares. I have chucked up a few auctions on eBay and I have been quite generous with my pricings so get on over there and take a look. Anyone buying anything from me can send me their login name here through the eBay message system and I will see what I can do about postage amounts/discounts.

Now what about the closing down? Well don’t worry I am not jacking it all in, that is infact some advance warning that over the coming days/week and a bit the site may well be down for extended periods while I do some jiggery pokery to try and make this more wonderous than you could ever believe! So please don’t be too distraut if you cannot get the site to load, just come back later and I am sure it will be fine.

I know its been a while guys but I just wanted to write a quick note to tell you that we are not dead. I have been extremely busy at work recently trying to finish off our current project and have not really had the time to do anything that I want to.

Rest assured however things will be changing soon and I will have a lot more time to concentrate on bringing you some ‘banging’ updates.

Speaking of updates shall we see how the Great Games Hunt is going?

Yep even though I have been busy I have managed to pick up another 3 games off the list, dropping it down to the low number of 14 still to get. And to be honest if I got off my lazy arse and just bought some of them we could drop this by a long way. Its still interesting to try and guess which game will be the last on the list. So far Coop has offered up the guess of Tail Concerto, which may well be a good guess. Anybody else fancy a guess at what I will bag as my last game?

Well while I am busy at work trying to do something special I decided I would throw up my latest victims in my hunt for the complete collection. I actually manage to get some good ones here, and some for bargain prices so here we go….

So thats 102 Dalmations, Demolition Racer, NBA In The Zone 2000, The Raiden Project and X Men vs Street Fighter. The last one weighed in at a hefty £3 which is the bargain of the week as far as I am concerned. So that leaves me with …..
